NON-PROFIT Cental information hub on Citizens' safety

As I can’t find a Contact Us page, I post this here…

BIN-PLP is a Belgian non-profit organisation, registered under #1014749 with Socialware.Be (same as TechSoup in US, but for Belgium).

A NIN is a Neighborhood Information Network is a complete legal framework in which information is mutually exchanged between the police services and the residents of the neighborhood. As citizens, we are encouraged to report irregularities to the police in an efficient manner. On the other hand, we receive useful information from the various police services. This is done by local NIN Coordinators who voluntarily try to manage the communication, coordination and information flow.
Our main activities are providing citizens with tips and information regarding safety prevention (burglar, fire, water …). The dutch naming for a NIN is: BIN or Buurt Informatie Netwerk and in french PLP or Partenariat Local de Prévention. As in Belgium we have 2 languages, we combine it to BIN-PLP hence the domain bin-plp.be.

Since COVIT-19, our importance has grown exponential since we also started being the local (cities/communes) information hub regarding measures and status of the pandemic.

We would like to use obsidian (and especially Obsidian Publish) as or main communication and information platform😊

Hi,

Do you have any questions?

Yes. We would like to use obsidian (and especially Obsidian Publish) as or main communication and information platform. As our budget is very limited, can we use Publish for free BEING A NON-PROFIT, as offered by some of the other software platforms on the market?

You don’t need to buy a commercial license for using Obsidian (the app) at a non-profit organization.
You do need pay for Obsidian Publish (the add-on service).

Is there a price setting for non-profit organizations using Obsidian Publish?

No, there isn’t one.
