No user feedback is given when signing in without a network connection on the Android app

Use case or problem

When I attempted to log into a sync account on initial setup of the Android app, the buttons appeared non-responsive and gave me no feedback. I initially assumed that the app was broken. It took me longer than I care to admit to realize that my network was being spotty.

Proposed solution

Some sort of user feedback when a login fails explaining that that happened would be very helpful in helping users troubleshoot the problem themselves.

Current workaround (optional)

Everything is fully functional. This is just intended to improve the user experience and avoid surprise and confusion for end users.
