Steps to reproduce

When “no file is open” screen is active and you click on “create new file”.

Expected result

A new file should be created in the location specified in:
Options > Files & Links > Folder to create new notes in …

Actual result

The newly created note is saved to the root of the vault, instead of the default location specified above.

Environment

  • Operating system: Mac OSX 10.15.6
  • Obsidian version: v0.9.17
