What I’m trying to do
Hi! I have been using obsidian for several months with few problems. It is synced to my dropbox on both laptop and computer. Recently, every time I enter text it disappears in a few seconds.
Initially I received a notification saying 'text was modified externally". The notifications have stopped and the text does not stay in the note. After a quick google I found the suggestion to look at the debugging info which is here:

I re-installed the software and the problem persisted.
I am looking for any suggestions as to how to troubleshoot this. Prior to this issue, obsidian has been an amazing tool for my research. I would hate to lose it and don’t have the skills to troubleshoot it on my own.
