New Vault on Macbook does not appear on iOS Obsidian appr

I added a new vault on my Macbook, but it does not automatically appear on my iPhone in Obsidian. Sorry for the ignorance, but helpful suggestions/thoughts?

If you use iCloud to synchronize your devices, try to create a new vault from the mobile app and it will appear on your Macbook.
