New Plugin - Eccidian: Better Encryption for Obsidian

Hi everyone!

Eccidian Encrypt is an encryption plugin for Obsidian that aims to be both secure and seamlessly integrated with your daily workflow.

This is a pre-release version and currently under community plugin review, so it’s not yet in the official plugin store. The new preview version will be released immediately after review.

What is Eccidian Encrypt?

Eccidian Encrypt provides fast and flexible encryption for any file inside your Obsidian vault, not just .md files. You can choose your encryption method, including symmetric and asymmetric encryption.

Encrypted files are assigned a custom extension, and when locked, they’re rendered in a clean, read-only view inside the app — no annoying popups when your mouse moves in the file browser, and full compatibility with features like Hover Editor and Page Preview.

It’s so secure that I even can’t find repo …

I think it is not allowed to contain url in post.

Posts cannot contain URLs

Hello.

Right link?

Good luck with the plugin.

Correct.
I must remind that this version does not include permanent encryption like Meld. It has been built but I cannot upload the new version because it is currently under review. The update depends entirely on the review speed.
