Hi everyone,
I wanted to share a plugin I’ve been working on recently called Activity Dashboard.
To be honest, I initially built this just for myself to create a dashboard for the media database I managed via the MediaDB plugin. But over time, I realized it could be much more useful if it worked with any property type. So, it evolved into a general property visualization tool.
If you want a quick visual overview of your note properties without dealing with complex Dataview queries, this plugin basically automates that. It scans your properties and turns them into clean, interactive widgets right inside Obsidian.
What it does:
- Automatically detects and charts text, number, date, and checkbox properties.
- Works natively with Obsidian’s core properties, no complex setup needed.
- Lets you arrange and configure your stats, graphs, and trackers to fit your workflow.
How to try it:
- Find “Activity Dashboard” in the Community Plugins tab and install it.
- Enable the plugin.
- Open it via the ribbon or command palette, set up your properties, and you’re good to go.
The project is completely open source. Feel free to check out the code, report any bugs, or open feature requests on GitHub:
