New Note: Default Location

Anyone else find it frustrating that the default note location is at the top level of the directory?

Currently:
/
Folder 1/
note1.md - Created here
Folder 2/
note2.md
note3.md
NEW PAGE.MD

Suggested:
/
Folder 1/
note1.md - Created here
NEW PAGE.MD
Folder 2/
note2.md
note3.md

This is configurable in the “File” section of the preferences.

“Default location for new notes”.

Also you can use code tags, or triple backticks ` to make your text display properly. In your post, you can’t see the folder indentation you tried to show.
