Similar to what this plugin does, you want nodes to be displayed in different ways
Desired display format:
Mind map
Multiple horizontal columns
kanban
Multilevel table
kanban
This issue has been solved remarkably good many years ago thanks to callouts, see here. Efemkay, the author of this code, continued to improve it over the years, removing also some recent problems (overuse of :has ), which caused some problems.
While the solution with callouts worked always flawlessly for me in the years, I also understand that dealing with multiple levels of indentation in callouts can be tricky at times, eg. if you add everything manually, what the common user does.

Unfortunately, you can’t nest formatting and edit directly like logseq
I wonder if there is a way to edit it directly
