Use case or problem
This GIF demonstrates moving cards in canvas, notice how easier it is to move around when the card is zoomed in to a certain “comfortable”(easier to hover over the card to get the hand symbol to drag) extent.
But, when zoomed out, I literally need to aim or keep hovering over it until I get the hand symbol to drag.
Imagine a cluster of cards and I want to isolate one of the cards (within the same canvas) for further research, because I am treating it as a new concept.
Can’t do it as of now.
Proposed solution
Step 1 - Select the card you want to Isolate
Step 2 - Simple Hotkey on keyboard (for ex - Ctrl + D)
Step 3 - The card just sticks to my pointer
Step 4 - Find an empty space within the same canvas and just click to place
