This bug still happens in the sandbox vault.

Expected result

Middle click should not paste text.

Actual result

The text is pasted at cursor.

Linux Mint 22.2 Cinnamon X11. Bug occurs on Appimage and Deb.

That is a Linux thing, you can configure it somewhere in your WM.

I also thought this, but it has always been disabled in the Linux settings and does not behave like this anywhere else. I tried toggling it on and off to no effect.
