Middle click on empty space in tab bar should open a new tab

This is the way that browsers behave. Right now middle clicking on the empty space does nothing.

I just tried Vivaldi and edge and they do not do it

Welp, sorry. This seem to be Firefox exclusive. I assumed that because middle click to close tab is universal, opening is also universal behavior.
