This forum and also obsidian support can’t help, although it’s obviously a bug in programming!
Only a discord user who tracked my problem was able to find the error.

I count this as a win and how a healthy ecosystem works: you asked in multiple places and were able to get an answer on Discord.
I’d post the issue on https://github.com/obsidianmd/obsidian-importer when you get a chance to help others in the future.
Why doesn’t that interest the support? I find the app very immature. I’ve watched a lot of videos, it may be good if you restart and start all the notes there. but it’s completely unsuitable for importing from other systems. I thought it would be a good thing to unite all the notes. but it’s very confusing and the notes are no longer in the format they used to be.

Had I seen your forum post, I would have responded here. It was by chance that I saw it there first.
I really like the app, but I also found importing challenging. Combining all my stuff from everywhere else would have taken a lot of manual effort.
The tools have improved in the short time I’ve been using Obsidian, with huge progress very recently, but they’re not flawless. The team appears aware of the value thus continually advancing it. The bug you saw is something they’d probably want to know about so they can fix it. (I actually might go report it if no one else has/does.)
Anyway, if you ever have more questions about importing—or about anything with Obsidian, really—then this forum, the Discord chat, and the subreddit are all good places to turn to, in my opinion. They have different “styles” and “wait times” depending on the type of question though, so have patience with volunteers, fellow users, and staff.
Obsidian has a small team; support is largely provided by other users. I understand it is frustrating when you have a problem and can’t fix it right now, but please have some perspective. You paid nothing for the app and nothing for support, yet within 2 days someone helped you fix your problem, in a world where software questions on the Web go unsolved all the time.
And then you came back here to abuse other users for not answering your question instantly. That’s not how we do things here. Please read our code of conduct. Thank you!

Oh, did you try to use the email support? That is for help with Obsidian’s paid services.
The support you get at Discord is mostly from other users, same as here. Dawni / purple penguin, for example, provides lots of help but is not employed by Obsidian. They are another user, like you.
Anyway, whether staff or users, please be nice and have patience. Thanks!
