- Already implemented/supported/recognized since https://forum.obsidian.md/t/obsidian-release-v0-8-5/4650 so this feature request can be archived IMHO.
YAML Frontmatter is now recognized. You can also hide it using the option in Settings > Editor > Show frontmatter.
