Metadata editor property type dropdown only displays once when using native menus

Steps to reproduce

Click on the metadata property icon to display the dropdown list containing the list of metadata property types. Click somewhere else to dismiss. Then click the icon again.

Expected result

Dropdown should display again.

Actual result

Dropdown does not display.

I can repro in the sandbox vault and it appears to be due to the Native menus setting in Appearance :blush: …

I can repro when that setting is enabled but not if it’s disabled.

It only seems to happen if one doesn’t select/modify the data type of the key in Properties and if the menu isn’t discarded hitting Esc on the keyboard (i.e.: It happens if the whole menu is closed by setting the focus/cursor elsewhere using a mouse/trackpad)

Switching to a different note seems to make the menu available again :blush: …

This is a screen-recording of me trying to re-trigger the menu after not selecting another data type using solely my trackpad (with Native menus enabled in Obsidian’s settings)
The menu only reappears after switching to another note (closing/re-opening does also work)

Discarding the menu hitting Esc without making any change (and either setting the focus elsewhere or not afterwards) does seem to work :blush:

And the issue doesn’t occur if Native menus is disabled in Obsidian’s settings
