I’m not exactly sure the correct terminology, but I’m wondering what the difference is between Frontmatter/YAML display and Metadata Block?
I’ve seen a version of the below appear sometimes when switching between Live Preview and Legacy, but not sure how it’s actually activated.
Is it possible to display the Metadata block below when using Live Preview mode? (at the moment the raw YAML code displays, when I have Display Frontmatter setting on)
Is it possible to display the Metadata block below when using Live Preview mode?
I don’t think so, what you see is just YAML embedded “in” or “as” Frontmatter.
Obsidian defines some intrinsic keys, like “aliases” or “tags” and handles these keys intrinsic. What you see as “Metadata” in “Reading Mode?” is a part of this handling.
Gotcha. I understand. Thanks!
