Make a toggle switch to turn the METADATA block on and off by default (preview mode).
I agree. Having the option to collapse metadata by default in preview would be greatly appreciated. However, the metatable plugin solves it nicely.
I also agree, and although Metatable is a great temporary solution, it would be great to have an option to show the metadata collapsed or expanded
