Hi, inserting a template into an existing entry that already have some (or a subset of those properties) does not merge the properties anymore. Is this by design? (I loved the feature.)

It’s not intended, and may be fixed in the current Insider version. Obsidian 1.4.14 Desktop (Catalyst) - Obsidian
- Fixed issue with inserting templates with properties failing to add new properties if the value is
null.

It is indeed fixed in 1.4.14. Hang in there a bit.
I originally tried this when someone mentioned it in another thread, but it didn’t do anything for me and thought I was missing something.
