Steps to reproduce

Not sure. I think it might be a problem with Sync? Idk take a look at this video. You can see the issue at 0:40, 1:30, and 2:35. I didn’t press any keys at any of those times. Loom | Free Screen & Video Recording Software

Expected result

None of the weird stuff in the video with undoing or recreating text.

Environment

  • Operating system: 11.2.3
  • Obsidian version: 0.11.13

Additional information

Maybe the problem is that I have both Dropbox and Sync on this vault? Yesterday I added in another computer that is using the same Dropbox directory and connected to the remote vault.

Update: Resolved. I needed to get it out of Dropbox on one of my computers.

You have a lot of things going on in this video. It would help if you can repro this with fewer things on. Like pausing dropbox, or using a vault without plugins.

It is possible that dropbox and sync race to update the file and you get this kind of problems.
