Markdown tables in Hover Preview display as raw text if there is an immediately preceding line of text or hashtag

1. Type a char (a-Z, 0-9, punctuation okay) or hashtag
2. Hit enter, create table using markdown
3. In another file, link to file with newly created table
4. Hold ctrl and hover over link

Expected result

Table should appear normally in hover preview pane.

Page preview displays/renders the note in Reading mode. For tables to display in Reading mode, there needs to be a blank line preceding the table.

Tables aren't showing up in reading mode

I was using tables in my documents, and they were rendering fine in live preview mode, however once I switched over to reading mode, they started displaying as their markdown versions.
