Markdown content not shown

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install the Obsidian app on mobile and open it
  2. Create a new local vault (no sync)
  3. Tap on “Create new file”, enter title and simple content
  4. Open the left sidebar, add a new note with title and simple content
  5. Open the sidebar again and switch to the first note
  6. Open the sidebar again and switch to the second note

Did you follow the troubleshooting guide?

Expected result

The title and content of the second note should be shown.

Actual result

No content is shown at all. Just the file name in the app header.

Swiping down a bit until the “Command palette: Open command palette” toast appears and then swiping up again (without opening the command palette) helps, then the content appears. But just for this file and the problem occurs again when switching the file.

Here is a screenshot how it looks like:

try updating iOS.

I have an iPhone 8 which isn’t supported by iOS 17, I could only update to iOS 16.
But I would like to avoid this as major updates on old devices often decrease the performance, introduce more bugs, etc and iOS 14 is really stable.

you can try to update to the latest of iOS14.
We are not gonna look into this unless it happens in newer version of iOS. Sorry!

AFAIK I cannot update to the latest version of iOS 14, only iOS 16 is available.
