If you want to implement tags with pages, you can do so. As you have discovered, it works the exact same way as it does in Roam.
Other people prefer to have a sharp separation between pages and tags. Where concepts are mapped with pages and statuses are mapped with tags (read, todo, someday, athome).
In graphview, which is supposed to be a network of concepts. Does it make sense to see pages that are actually just tags/statuses.
I am sure some people say yes, most say no.
