Use case or problem
Write a block of text, then write a block ID that contains scandinavian characters, e.g. ^Elämä
. The block ID does not work.
Proposed solution
Obsidian should interpret ^Elämä
the same way as ^Elama
.
Current workaround (optional)
I’m currently replacing ä with a and ö with o. Technically it works, but it’s not so natural to write. (Offtopic: in Finnish, the difference between ä and a can even change the meaning of a word, for example etänä means remotely, but type it like etana, and it means a snail ).

This probably affects some other special characters than scands, too.
The same thing has been fixed for tags: Please let me use UTF-8 tags -
I first opened this as a bug report here, but was adviced to open a feature request instead.
