macOS obsidian can't use keyboard shortcut to toggle on/off Left Sidebar

After setting up keyboard shortcut for toggling on/off Left Sidebar in system settings-keyboard-keyboard shortcut, though pressing that combination will check/uncheck View/Left Sidebar, left sidebar still remains the same.

I can only click on View/Left Sidebar to toggle on/off left sidebar.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to system settings-keyboard-keyboard shortcut-app shortcut, create a new shortcut for obsidian.
  2. In menu title, type in Left Sidebar, and in keyboard shortcut, press Cmd-Option-/, click on Done to save obsidian shortcut, and then press Done to save keyboard shortcut.
  3. Open obsidian, press Cmd-Option-/, the menu in View-Left Sidebar is checked, but left sidebar remains there.
