I have lost most of my notes and files. Not sure what happened as I do not understand obsidian, but I had chosen syncing the vault a little time before. Could this be connected to the missing files? Is there anything I can do
Search the forum — I’ve seen at least 1 post with a similar problem.
Can you still see the files in your operating system’s file explorer?
You may be able restore from Settings > File Recovery if it’s enabled.
Do you have backups? (If not, here’s a starting point to help you after you solve the current problem: Home | World Backup Day — March 31st)
