This one successfully fixes the dot carrying to the next line for me too. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work with link being carried without parentheses it’s in (the example is in my post up above).
Interesting, I thought it did fix that, but apparently it only works if the link in parenthesis is in a list. Or I really tested it in a list and in a normal paragraph, so not sure if there are other instances it does work in. It definitely works for me in a list, but not in a normal paragraph.
The problem also occurs with a plain space if it is at the end of the line and no longer fits into the line (in edit mode).
