Description:
When using Live Preview mode in Obsidian at around 150% zoom, left-clicking inside a note can sometimes cause the entire page to shift upward slightly. The movement resembles the effect of placing the cursor on the top visible line and pressing the “arrow up” key a few times.
Steps to Reproduce (intermittent):
-
Open a note in Live Preview mode
-
Set zoom level to approximately 150%
-
Scroll toward the bottom portion of the note
-
Left-click somewhere in the editor
Expected Behavior:
The page should remain stable, and the cursor should be placed exactly where the user clicks.
Actual Behavior:
The page sometimes shifts upward slightly after clicking, as if the view auto-scrolls up by a few lines.
Frequency:
Intermittent — does not happen consistently, making it difficult to reproduce reliably.
Environment: Windows, version 1.12.7
