List of notes from a specific folder as List-Property

What I’m trying to do

Hi, i use a folder “customers” with a list of notes in it, one for every customer. In another folder, i want to create a property where i can select a note from the “customers”-folder as reference. For that when clicking on the property, it should open a select list or something where i can click on the note that i want to connect to. This list should dynamically show all existing notes from the “customers” subfolder

Things I have tried

I tried a lot of stuff by myself, then searched the forum for similar topics and also played around with dataview, but i think this is not working in a property.

My question is, is that possible at all or do i have to think in a complete other direction?
At the end i want to link articles to defined customer articles from a popup list or something.

You can look at the metadata menu plugin. It allows you to have a file type property where you can choose a file, based on a set of pages defined with dataview.
