Right now, daily note plugin will note make use fo left pane to list daily note.
After using obsidian, file explorer is hard to find what we want since all note are listed together. So I close file. I think daily note pane can be a good entry to get to know what I have done recently

On the other hand, you could change the sorting order of the notes in the File Explorer pane.

This might be more related to a plugin idea that others have had, though: Calendar view hot key

I’ve changed the default folder for creating new daily notes on its settings… works fine for my needs but a calendar would indeed be nice!
