Linux middle-click paste conflicts

On linux, the middle-click pastes the clipboard (default OS behavior) on top on doing the Obsidian’s middle-click actions (like opening a link). This causes the middle-click to be useless, as pasting gets buggy, and any other middle-click action causes random text to get pasted unexpectedly.

Is there any way of disabling the middle-click pasting on Obsidian (and keep it on other applications)? Have you found any other workaround to avoid double middle-click actions?

The core of the issue Obsidian uses the middle-click for various functionality like opening links in new tabs/windows. But this is conflicting with the default Linux OS behavior in which the middle-click pastes the clipboard. Unfortunately, there is no sure way to turn this pasting feature off on the OS level.
