Linking zotero highlights and obsidian via drag and drop

Is it possible to automatically generate a link back to Zotero’s PDF highlights when dragging and dropping highlights into Obsidian?

For instance, when dragging and dropping a highlighted phrase (ABC) from Zotero to Obsidian notes, it transfers as “ABC” (DE et al., 2024, p. 1). Is it possible to have the link from the Zotero highlight automatically inserted into (DE et al., 2024, p. 1)?

When dragging and dropping from Zotero to notepad, it generates as “ABC” (DE et al., 2024, p. 1) (pdf)

Could you please let me know if it is possible to achieve this in Obsidian as well, so that it generates in the same way as in notepad?

Hi Kajino

Hold shift while dragging and dropping and it should include the link.

Also you can customize the default template on Zotero.

Edit > Settings > Advanced > Config editor > extensions.zotero.annotations.noteTemplates.highlight
