Linking Canvas to files

Hi ,

i am new to obsidian , comming from tiddly wiki , i am still a bit confused , i understand properties are additional attributes to a note/file , my question is , is there a plugin that automatically updates file/note properties if a node on the canvas was linked to another node , i am trying to establish a parent /child task hierarchy where i am treating notes as tasks , and i would like to draw a task on a canvas link it to a parent task ,and see it reflect in the notes properties

i found this plugin " Link notes in canvas" , which as i understood does exactly that , but it requires manually clicking on a menu, is there another alternative that just does this automatically , or is this the right plugin for that ?

I haven’t used it, but the Semantic Canvas plugin might be worth checking out. Good luck!

semantic canvas was actually the plugin I was referring to, and yes, it is the closest thing to what i want, albeit manual, but i got used to it :slight_smile:
