Use case or problem

I’m on a pinned note, for example a MOC, then I click a link from there and it does not open on a new window, instead it replaces an already open window.

Proposed solution

I would like that a note opened from a pinned note gets opened on his dedicated tab without replacing already existing ones.

Using cmd/ctrl + click is out of context, the default behaviour should be to open the note on a new tab (when clicked inside a pinned note). What’s the point of replacing an already open tab? Who can benefit from this counter-intuitive behavior? None I guess.

Click on an internal link in a pinned note should open a brand new tab

Use case or problem When I’m in a pinned note, if I click an internal link, the target note will open in a different tab. The problem is that sometimes it opens a brand new tab (if there is no unpinned tab yet), or it reuses some arbitrary unpinned tab (the first it finds from left-to-right, probably). This is inconsistent and surprising as it essentially “hides” the content of one of tabs (I used to have a tab there and now it’s hidden and I have no idea what disappeared until I go back in hi…
