Use case or problem
Linking Panes is something I personally haven’t used at all, even before Live Preview. Today I was curious if I could link a canvas to a note tab. It seems pretty intuitive, I think most users would expect that to work. It doesn’t.
Proposed solution
Allow linking a pane to a canvas, so that focusing on canvas file nodes shows that file in the linked pane. Optionally, I would expect that focusing on a narrowed node would also scroll to and temporarily highlight that section in the linked pane.
Current workaround (optional)
One could always make nodes very large to be able to see and edit larger files… kinda defeats the purpose of narrowing and makes the canvas ugly though.
