Line-wrap in code block for fresh install

I have just started using Obsidian editor on Mac. I’m trying to create a code-block that has long lines. I’d like the stop the word wrapping in the view mode. Currently, there’s word/line wrapping when viewing the code. I can disable overall line wrap but that’s not what I want.
I have searched the forums and found an opposite post - someone trying to restore the wrapping. So I’m guessing something has changed.

Bottom line, I’d like to have a Horizontal scroll bar for my code block, while the code block itself has the width of the rest of the text.

This could be a good reference

But for editing view, currently you either live with wrapped code or unwrapped code that would scroll entire note.
