Steps to reproduce

Open a note or create a new note in Life Preview Editor

Expected result

Obisidian opens an existing note or creates ONE new pane

Actual result

Obsidian opens an existing note or creates ONE new pane, and opens 2 additional windows horizontally

Environment

This can i only reproduce in my Linux Environment, in Windows 10 this is not happening.

    Suse Linux Leap 15.3

I can’t reproduce On Ubuntu. POst a screen recording of this happening in the help vault on.

OK, this is weird:
i can’t repro in the help vault, so maybe it’s related to my vault and/or to my local settings.

i’ll continue to investigate

Hey, I’ve just stumbled upon this behaviour after this recent update on MacOS. For what it’s worths, in my case this happens when “Backlinks in document” community plugin (version 0.0.5) is enabled. Do you have installed?

Yes, this is it, i deactivated “Backlinks in document” and now the editor is working as intended.
