I just had my license expire. I tried then to select Free – which is al I need – but I see no indication that I’m a Free subscriber. Also, I had paid for the Sync app; will that still work?

There is no free subscription.
The base app is free (without any add-ons, and only for personal use)

Using Obsidian Sync is not free and requires the Sync subscription.
(Though there are free alternatives)
