What I’m trying to do
I paste some URLs in to a note and the first letter after the \ is grayed out - how can I stop this effect and not gray out the letters ? Thanks
In Markdown, the backslash (\) is used to mark when you want to use characters literally (for example, to use an asterisk without marking the following text as emphasized), so Obsidian’s Markdown highlighter is highlighting it.
I think the best solution would be for Obsidian to not do that. In the meantime I think it’s possible to customize how Obsidian highlight Markdown, but I don’t know anything about it.

@Sentiment’s answer marks the text as code (as you may know), which is a pretty sensible thing to do with a pathname like that.
