I happened to press the key combination shift colon ‘L’ (:L) in a document whilst in edit mode and was surprised by a popup
I can’t see that combo in Hotkeys, and can’t find any reference in documentation so I’m wondering the source of the popup. Does anyone know?
Thanks very much
On macOS shift : L
gives me the expected: :L
What did the popup say? Did it seem Obsidian related?
You could enable restricted mode, it may be coming from a community plugin.
If you don’t see anything in Hotkeys though, I would suspect some OS service (not coming from Obsidian) like a text-expander shortcut, etc.

Can you reproduce and post a screenshot?
Does this happen in the Sandbox vault (on desktop) as well?

That do seem to be an icon plugin of some sort. They do sometimes use popups like that. So take a thorough look at Settings > Community plugins > Installed plugins , and you’ll most likely find your culprit.
Great question. I haven’t a Sandbox but do have another vault. It does not happen in the other one.

Duh to me. “Iconize” I must have looked at Community Plugins three or four times and glazed over Iconize each time. I’m embarrassed. Thank you! @holroy

If you are on desktop, you do. Check the link.
100% a community plugin then.
I’d start investigating icon plugins as holroy suggested.

You were spot on @ariehan on both the Sandbox and icon plugins. Thanks for your help
