What I’m trying to do

Read a note from Card in desktop Obsidian App Current version: v1.9.12 (Installer version: v1.4.16), plugin Kanban Version: 2.0.51 By mgmeyers.
Unfortunately, some Kanban Board List Card notes do open, however some do not and notify error: File name cannot contain any of the following characters \ / :

Things I have tried

  • Work around is to open desktop Obsidian → left side bar → Kanban directory → Note file → opens in main window. (this should open from the Kanban board list card link)
  • Tested on phone and same inconsistent error, some Kanban board list card notes open and others present the notification error
  • Obsidian forum searched
  • Internet searched with a quality search engine
  • Plugin Kanban instructions perused over
  • Plugin Kanban settings perused over
  • Screenshot shows top left card in List Appointments, Note turns into a link, however link won’t open the Note from the Card (other Cards with a note link do open, bug seems to randomly occur, causing unreliability and uncertainty on whether information will be accessible).

Also,
hover over Card note link, incorrectly presents: “<card title>” is not created yet. Click to create.

Hovering over working Card notes links, correctly presents: <note details>.

Also,
Notes store in the left side bar Kanban directory.
This will fill up over time.
Is there a better storage process, so my left side bar isn’t filled up with old unnecessary notes?
Once I’ve completed a Kanban board list card, I drag the completed card to the Done list, where it’s kind of archived. No need to fill up my left side bar.

Work around is to rename the Kanban Card title without a colon.
However, this removes the functionality of the Tasks plugin which creates dates in format YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm
Additionally, the plugin Reminder Version: 1.1.21 By uphy also uses dates in format YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm
When I remove the colons, the Tasks Due date doesn’t function and the Reminder plugin doesn’t remind with the usual notification appearing in the Obsidian desktop and phone app.

Testing with no colon format YYYY-MM-DD hhmm and YYYY-MM-DD hh mm notifies the Obsidian app with a reminder.
I think that the plugin Reminder’s documentation should be updated, as format show with a colon. Without a colon causes no error with Kanban Card Notes being opened.
