It's impossible to resize the rightmost pane when it's in focus

Steps to reproduce

Create two panes.
Click on the right pane to set it in focus.

Expected result

The vertical bar that lets you resize the pane should show.

Actual result

The vertical bar that lets you resize the pane doesn’t show (see attached video).

Operating system: Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7

Please post this again only if you can reproduce this with default css and no third party plugins.
