Steps to reproduce
Apply Italics to a block of text in Editing view.
Go into Reading View
Expected result
I expect the formatted text to br displayed in italics, and the italics code flags to disappear
Actual result
The Italics markdown flags remained, and the italics formatting set was not displayed in Reading View.
