Issue with multiple tabs with the same note open

I think there should be a setting to disallow opening the same note in multiple tabs. This confuses me a lot and I always end up with notes repeated in a bunch of tabs.

Or at least, make it more difficult to open the same note in different tabs. Currently, whenever I open a note from the sidebar or following a link, it will either open in the same tab, or if I Ctrl+Click it, it will open in a new tab regardless of whether that note was already open. Maybe in the later case, it should just jump to the existing tab? Then there could be some additional trigger one could do to force it to open in a new tab if desired.
