What I’m trying to do
I have set the default view to be in Reading mode. When I go to Edit mode, I want to make it so that tab is automatically pinned so that if ever I open something else, it would open in another tab by default and not change what I’m currently editing.
Things I have tried
- I know I can just middle click on the note to open it in a new tab but I found this to be too much to keep track of. And I keep forgetting to pin the tab when I switch to editing mode, it would be so much more hassle-free if there was a way to automatically do this.
- I have tried the Open Tab Settings plugin but it opens all notes in a new tab. I still want to retain the default behavior of files opening on the active tab unless that tab is in Editing mode, hence why I wanted a way to auto-pin them.
