Is there a way of finding all paragraphs with specific tag across entire vault?

I use a lot of inline tags in my notes, e.g. #idea at the end of a paragraph for ideas I want to develop later.

Is there a way to have a note which automatically collects all paragraphs, in all files, in the entire vault, with a given tag?

That would be awesome! Thanks!

You can embed a search for a tag, directly in your notes:

```query
#idea
```

It doesn’t show the entire paragraph. You have to click “show more context” if the paragraph is long. But if you hold Ctrl or Cmd over the link, you see an expanded preview too.

That is super cool, and so simple! Much appreciated. However, I am still curious to know if there is a way to get the entire paragraph (or sentence, or block) which comes before a tag. Maybe with the Dataview plugin? :thinking:
