Is it possible to create outline/TOC for longer notes with headings?

Type [toc] for a ToC

It would be useful to be able to put a table of contents with clickable links to the headers at the top of a document. This is esp. useful if the file is exported to a PDF. The easy way to do that would be to be able to type [toc] and get a table of contents rendered in Preview.

Besides, you can drag the outline plugin to one of the sidebars - thus it will be permanently open and automatically adapt to the active note.
