Is anybody gonna create a code editor (like atom.io) plugin for Obsidian?

Is it possible to have an inbuilt code editor in obsidian?

Not exactly sure if this is going to be practical, since it’s not really like Obsidian can compile and run code. I feel that going with your Jupyter Notebook idea might be better.

Honestly, Obsidian has the potential to be one of the best code editor out there, I still can’t believe no one undertook steps to allow for opening and editing code in obsidian (it would allow for such an interesting synergy of notes, documentation, and scripts). One day hopefully someone more knowledgeable than me will give it a go, but it seems like a natural direction for such a great text editor.
