iPhone app duplicating vaults?

What I’m trying to do

My Obsidian app on my iPhone has now created three copies of my vaults that seem to all be stored in different places. I want to delete the extra vaults (that seem to be older, out-dated versions of my actual vaults) but I am worried that it will delete much of the content in the vaults that I want to keep!

Things I have tried

I’m hesitant to try to delete it because that would be a massive amount of work to fix.

What do you mean by:

???
I mean, where are they located more precisely ?
What are those “different places” ?

Also:
Could these be backups of your vault ?
Do you sync your vault across devices ? (and if yes, how ?)

I’m asking because normally, on iPhone/iPad, Obsidian can only access the vault(s) stored under a very specific Obsidian folder (in iCloud Drive and/or locally, on “your device”)

Like, one copy seems to be stored in Documents while another is stored in iCloud. They don’t seem to be backups? Though I guess I wouldn’t be sure how to know if they were. I sync my vaults across devices using Obsidian Sync!

As I’m not an Obsidian Sync user, I’m really not sure I can help you with that :face_without_mouth:
(I’d be afraid to lead you to something that shouldn’t have been done  )

I can only hope someone with more expertise will chime in

What operating systems are you using, and on each device which version of the vault have you been using?
