[iOS] Bottom ribbon not scrollable with an external keyboard

I just did: it gives the same result as the Sandbox vault, namely that the tool ribbon is not displayed at all (instead, the bottom ribbon has the usual magnifying glass, “+” sign, etc. that we get with the “blank” page). The settings indicate that there are tools in the ribbon, though.

I can provide screenshots, if this can help.

What you describe now seems to be different from the bug report you linked.

Before the problem was that the editor toolbar appeared but could not be scrolled. In you last message it sounds like the editor toolbar does not appear and the app display the navigation bar.

I’m able to reproduce the newly-described behavior (in my normal vault, forgot to switch to test vault). When I connect my Bluetooth keyboard, the toolbar disappears with the soft keyboard, leaving only the nav bar. I tried toggling edit modes and reading view to “jiggle the handle” but it didn’t help. (Apparently I haven’t used my keyboard since this started happening.)

And yeah, this isn’t the same bug as the other one (tho it’s technically true that you can’t scroll what isn’t there.)

Continuing from DM.

In your vault:
Enable restricted mode, use default theme, disable snippets, restart Obsidian.
Please make a screen recording of this bug happening.

If it doesn’t happen, we’ll close it.

I think I found the situation that leads to the problem in the original post: activating and then deactivating the on-screen iOS keyboard with an external keyboard does the trick (the toolbar is shown and cannot be used).

I’m guessing that the intended behavior is to make the toolbar disappear, and to instead show the basic, default toolbar with Back/Forward/Search/New note/Windows/Menu?

Here is a video showing this, where I followed the “reset” instructions (note that the link will expire after some time, maybe a week?).
