1. Remove the hashtag # from the tags. # is needed for inline tags, but not for tags in the properties (or YAML).
2. In my experience, a template file often results in an invalid YAML, but it’s not a problem at all as long as the resulting note (after replacing templates) doesn’t cause the same error.
